PZS 2017 Exhibitor Interviews: Computarded

This year PZS will have different exhibitors Saturday and Sunday. You will find Computarded tabling on Saturday.
How did you get into zines? OR How were you introduced to zines?
My first introduction to zines was thru the punk/skate shops.  Typically, these dealt with local music and skate spots and I didn’t really get into art based zines until somewhat recently.
If you didn’t make zines, what do you think you’d be doing?
Just making collage art and trying to navigate life.
What are your inspirations?
I was initially inspired by artists like Winston Smith and Jamie Reed.
These days I’m blown away by so many artists I’m inspired daily.
What projects do you have lined up for 2017?
I’ve just released a series of Skateboards for Vagrant, and I’m working on more deck designs.
I’m always making collages and will continue looking for shows, collaborations, and zine submissions.
I’m involved with an Art Gallery and magazine called Radarstation, I help curate content for the mag and love bringing additional exposure to artists.

Our theme for this year is the Apocalypse. What 3 things would you want to have with you to survive?
X-acto blades, magazines and rubber cement.
